WWE has been ding its work with the Tag Team Division over the past few weeks. And one team that has benefited is Randy Orton and Matt Riddle.

The two, forming an unlikely alliance, have gone on to deliver entertainment at its finest on Raw. And they hit the mark yet again on the latest episode of the show.

As AJ Styles and Omos get set to defend their Raw Tag Team Championships, the duo demanded a tag team battle Royale to decide the number one contendors.

In the lineup were Dominik Dijakovic and T-Bar, The Viking Raiders, one half of the Lucha House Party, John Morrison solely representing his team with the injured Miz, and of course, RK-Bro.

In the segment before the match, Riddle pointed out the key to his bond with Randy Orton. Turns out, it actually is a key! ‘The Bro’ claimed that whenever Orton was annoyed with him, he had to zip his lips and hand the imaginary key to his partner!

He went on to ramble, much to the dirty looks of ‘The Viper’ until Randy actually asked him to zip his lips once more. Riddle reluctantly did it on live TV and handed the key over to Orton, who went on to hide it in his boot.

Riddle shot at Randy Orton for his ring attire

This moment, although hilarious, wasn’t the funniest part of the segment. During his time on the mic, Riddle finally dropped the reason why he wore two shirts instead of just one.

“I’m wearing two shirts because one, Randy doesn’t wear shirts, and two, he doesn’t wear pants,” Riddle said.

This moment almost caught ‘The Viper’ out, as he tried very hard not to break character. Orton was seen visibly trying not to laugh at the joke.

Unfortunately, this jolly duo didn’t manage to pull off the victory on the night. The two started off strong by spamming RKO’s on the lightweights in the ring but soon fell victim to the other experienced teams.

Towards the end, Riddle put himself in the way of a Trouble in Paradise by Kofi Kingston to save Randy Orton. ‘The Legend Killer’ could not make the most of that and ended up getting eliminated anyways by The Viking Raiders, who earned the number one spot fair and square.
