Speaking on the latest episode of his Hall of Fame Podcast, the WWE legend broke down the feud from his perspective. “This is not just you know, two guys having worked with each other and been in the ring with each other.
“This is two guys coming from two totally different eras. And Edge, you know, probably third era that he’s gotten a chance to work with,” explained Booker T.
Despite having the advantage of experience, Booker is convinced that Edge doesn’t quite measure up to Roman Reigns at this point in his career.
Booker T is impressed by how far Roman Reigns has come
Even though ‘The Rated-R Superstar’ has fought Superstars from different eras of WWE, Roman is in his prime as is the most dominant he has ever been.
“It’s going to be a hard road to hold as far as you know, going out there and actually matching up because honestly, he doesn’t match up with Roman,” claimed Booker. “Roman’s a beast, man. Roman has proved that is truly the guy, I really feel that way.”
“Not just because he said it, but because the guy’s a top-notch worker, he’s a top-notch entertainer, he’s a top-notch performer. He knows the playbook.
“And he goes out there and makes it work and that’s why everybody right now- all eyes on Roman. Just two years ago, everybody had no love for this guy. So obviously, he knows what he’s doing,” concluded Booker.
