Goldberg vs Roman Reigns was the one feud that fans were excited about, and the clash of the two powerhouses seemed like a dream match in the works. Unfortunately, everyone was deprived of this showdown due to the pandemic.

However, ‘The Iconic’ still has bad blood towards Roman Reigns, and it’s not because of his storyline that never ended. Goldberg has a genuine reason to hate Roman, and it stems from the college he went to!

In a recent interview with FOX Sports, Goldberg mocked Roman Reigns’ recent claims of having the best Spear in WWE, using his college Georgia Town as a sort of joking point.

“He’s doing the best of his ability and I’m doing mine to the best of my ability. He does it (the Spear) like a moron from Georgia Tech, and I do it like a bulldog from Georgia, Period. End of story,” asserted Goldberg.

“If you’re gonna do your signature move, you’re going to move people’s organs. But, besides, I haven’t hurt that many people,” said Goldberg, possibly hinting out at Roman Reigns nearly injuring AJ Styles with a botched Spear.

“I really haven’t. And I’ve been doing it for a long, long time, right? So, I must be a pretty damn good performer to keep everybody safe when it looks like I’m killing ‘em,” said Goldberg. “So, take that Roman Reigns. Shove that up your Georgia Tech whatever the hell you got.”

Goldberg is set to take on Drew McIntyre at Royal Rumble 2021

‘The Iconic’ never got his match with Roman, but the rivalry is still there. The hatred for Reigns’ college is enough for the WCW legend to hate his guts.

Goldberg on the other hand is very optimistic about his feud with Drew McIntyre. Appearing on Raw Legends Night, he challenged the WWE Champion to a fight which was later accepted.

The two are set to clash at Royal Rumble in what is expected to be a huge brawl. Goldberg can show his nemesis from Georgia University what a Spear is all about unless he meets the Claymore Kick in an ironic turn of events.

There may be something still left in Roman Reigns vs Goldberg, but as the likelihood goes, we may never see the two settle their differences in the ring, and the feud will go down forever as a ‘what could have been’.
