WWE has always managed to pull off exciting events for the Raw after Mania, and this year, we expected a Brock Lesnar return or something of similar gravity. However, the last episode of Raw didn’t suggest anything different than the same old storylines, prompting fans to believe that something is in store for tonight.

The promotion has already announced two huge clashes for the night, and these matches will undoubtedly set the tone for the night. Firstly, we have Randy Orton clashing with Braun Strowman in what will be a new storyline direction for Randy, following his settling of affairs with The Fiend.

For Strowman, it will be a hurdle to overcome in order to get a shot at the WWE Championship in the future. Both men are free from their previous storylines and are now shifting their focus to the ultimate prize.

However, there can’t be two champions, and the two will settle the dispute tonight. What’s more interesting is that this signifies the first battle between Randy Orton and Braun Strowman. The two have surprisingly never met each other in the ring before for a match.

Charlotte Flair is set to battle Asuka yet again on WWE Raw

Another match announced for the night is for Charlotte Flair, who will take on one of her biggest ever rivals in Asuka. The two Superstars are so evenly matched in the ring that fans are always entertained when they step in together.

Charlotte, returning to her heel role, has set her sights on the Raw Women’s Championship yet again but will have to take down its former holder Asuka first to get to Rhea Ripley. We expect a brawl between these two and we are undoubtedly going to get it.

Asuka enters the ring coming back from a loss at WrestleMania 37, but that won’t stop her from showing Charlotte why she was Raw Women’s Champion for nearly a year.

Just like it isn’t WrestleMania without John Cena, it isn’t Raw without Drew McIntyre. ‘The Scottish Psychopath’ will appear on the show to demand answers from MVP concerning yet another title rematch against WWE Champion Bobby Lashley.

Drew refuses to forfeit his claim over the title and is persistent in his quest to regain the crown. Only time will tell if he gets his answer through words or with a fist wrapped around it.
