The latest episode of Monday Night Raw was eventful, to say the least. Unfortunately, everything else seemed like a build-up to the huge main event, that saw Charlotte Flair clash with one of her biggest rivals in Asuka.

The stage was set, and both Superstars showcased their excellent chemistry in the ring by pulling off some pretty flamboyant moves. However, the climax of the match was reached soon enough, and Charlotte had victory in her grasp.

‘The Queen’ locked in the Figure Four on Asuka and propped herself up in typical fashion. Asuka was moments away from tapping out, but that’s when Raw Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley directly intervened in the proceedings.

Sitting ringside, Ripley clearly didn’t want Charlotte to come out victorious in this one. She pulled Charlotte’s hands from under her, forcing ‘The Queen’ to break the hold.

The official did not see this and let the match continue. Asuka soon countered and gained the roll-up pinfall victory. Understandably, Flair was livid and quickly questioned the official for not seeing such a blatant interference.

Charlotte Flair took her anger out on the WWE Official

She quickly took her anger out on him and beat down the official. Even as more officials stepped in to restrain her, Charlotte did not stop. These actions were a huge breach of WWE policy and according to the rules, you cannot lay hands on the official for any reason.

For this reason, Adam Pearce confirmed on Raw Talk that Charlotte Flair would get suspended from WWE along with a $100,000 fine. These fines are a direct consequence of attacking the official, and Charlotte will have to adhere to them.

However, it must be noted that the fine and suspension are for storyline purposes only, and Charlotte won’t actually have to comply. ‘The Queen’ will most probably appear again on the next episode of Raw unless the storyline keeps her out for a week or two.

It’s been well over a year since Charlotte won her last singles Championship, and the drought has to end for her. As one of the greatest female Superstars of all time, Flair will have to get the gold again, and she too realizes that every time she enters the ring.
