Long before the Women’s Revolution took WWE by storm, Trish Stratus and Lita dominated the female competition. As the WWE Women’s Champion, she had the entire roster under her boot and was one of the best performers in the ring.
To honor her career and achievements, WWE decided to name her #1 on the list of Greatest Woman Superstars of all time. This achievement sees her take the throne, beating every other Superstar including the current star-studded names such as Sasha Banks, Charlotte Flair, Bayley, Asuka, and Becky Lynch.

Trish Stratus deserves the legendary honor because she defined the modern era for the WWE Women’s Division. She is a record 7-time WWE Women’s Champion and has the most reigns for that title in its 50-year history.
WWE made this list as part of the partnership with Peacock. It only includes ‘modern-era’ Superstars, particularly post 1993. WWE legends before 1993 such as The Fabulous Moolah and Mae Young were not included but were given honorary mentions as the list progressed.
Charlotte Flair trailed Trish Stratus by a close margin
A close second to Trish Stratus is Charlotte Flair, who was named #2 despite being the most decorated female Superstar in WWE history.
Charlotte is a 5-time SmackDown Women’s Champion, a 4-time Raw Women’s Champion, a 2-time NXT Women’s Champion, and a WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion (with Asuka). She is also the Fifth Women’s Triple Crown Champion and Fourth Women’s Grand Slam Champion in WWE history.
Charlotte may overtake Trish over the next few years and has already elevated her father’s greatness in terms of World Championship wins. She aims to go a lot further in her quest for and define her nickname as ‘The Queen’ by taking the throne.

Becky Lynch took third place for her excellent work in breaking barriers in WWE. She is a 3-time WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion and a 1-time Raw Women’s Champion.
‘The Man’ has the incredible achievement of being the only Superstar in WWE history to hold the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championship simultaneously.
