The wrestling world erupted earlier today after a tweet by former WWE Superstar Mickie James. She revealed that WWE had sent her personal belongings in a trash bag following her release. The bag had her name on it, and she was rightfully outraged by the way the company handled this. Following that, James took to Twitter and called out Vince McMahon.

As you can see in the picture below, James was sent a black trash bag with all the belongings from her locker in it. This, understandably, was a very disrespectful moment for one of the greatest female Superstars the business has ever seen. And quite frankly, it was a disgrace to any human being.

For the amount of work she has put in, Micky did not deserve this sort of treatment, even though she is no longer a WWE Superstar. The fanbase backed her in this entire situation, and a lot of other Superstars acknowledged that it was more than unprofessional of WWE to treat her this way.

Former WWE Champion CM Punk and AEW Superstar Chris Jericho also had their piece to say and reacted jokingly to the tweet.

Mickie James received an apology from Triple H and Stephanie McMahon

Following this entire debacle, WWE Chief Branding Officer Stephanie McMahon immediately apologized to Mickie for this insulting moment and confirmed that the person responsible for the action had been fired.

WWE COO Triple H also confirmed that the concerned person had been fired from the company. However, that was not the end of it.

Over the past few hours, a lot of former WWE Superstars, released from contract or otherwise, have spoken up about the treatment they have received following their exit.

Fightful Select reports that the ‘person responsible’ is Mark Carrano. There are also reports of a huge in-house clearance of WWE personnel responsible following this uproar.

Former WWE Superstars Gail Kim, Maria Kanellis, and Darren Young also exposed Carrano’s rash behavior with them following their releases.

In fact, Kanellis also revealed that she had received a similar trash bag after her release, indicating that this sort of behavior has been going on for a while. Ryback, who often spoke about Carrano and his attitude in his talks, is probably smiling as the story progresses.

We will soon find updates on the rest of the names responsible for this and if WWE plans on firing more of the personnel involved.
