Beginning of the End? Seth Rollins Trashes Murphy on RAW

In the last few days, tension has been increasing between Seth Rollins and Murphy. The Messiah and Disciple haven’t looked eye-to-eye on many occasions in recent history.

On today’s edition of Monday Night Raw, Seth Rollins walked out for his match against Dominik Mysterio. The winner would go on to face Randy Orton and Keith Lee to become No.1 contender for the WWE Championship.

The Messiah walked down to the ring before his match with Mysterio. Rollins yelled at Murphy and reminded him about the big mistake he made at Payback. Murphy’s unintended kick to the head of Rollins helped the Mysterio family win.

Rollins explained the importance of a WWE Championship shot to Murphy. The ‘Architect’ said he could not afford to have any more mistakes made by Murphy.

The Monday Night Messiah told Murphy to get out of the ring. Murphy gave a blank stare at first but Rollins repeated himself and told Murphy to get out of his sight.

The former WWE champion didn’t want to see or hear Murphy. Rollins wanted him to figure what kind of man he wants to be, what he stands for, and which side of history he wants to be on.

Rollins slapped Murphy at the back of his head as the latter began to walk back. Out of nowhere, Dominik attacked Murphy on the stage before his match started.

Rollins defeated Mysterio to move ahead to the triple threat match. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to secure a title shot for himself.

Can this be the end of the road for Seth Rollins and Murphy?

Rollins and Murphy have had some good moments. They have been Raw Tag Team Champions; they have injured many superstars and have had a dominant run. If this is actually the time to separate them, there are many opportunities and possibilities for both superstars.

The first possibility could get Seth Rollins back into the WWE Championship picture. A few weeks back, we saw McIntyre and Rollins in a backstage argument. This could be a small hint of things coming in the future.

On the other hand, this split could turn out to be a big break for Murphy. According to rumors, the top WWE management is a big fan of Murphy.

This was one of the reasons he was booked to win the Cruiserweight Championship in Australia.

The third possibility of this possible break-up could be the rivalry with the Mysterio family getting stale. The Mysterio family and Rollins-Murphy feud has been going on for some time now.

Two tag team partners feuding with each other will bring something fresh to the WWE Universe. It will be intresting to see how things move on from here.
