However, Ricochet recently took to Twitter and blasted all the rumors. He called websites out and asked them to “fact check before you just blast some trash on your website for some clicks?”
The Superstar posted the following tweets.
But seriously, where the hell did these rumors start? I’ve never said once that I am leaving. To anyone! So for these “dirt sheets” out there.
Maybe facts check before you just blast some trash on your website for some clicks?

He promised the fans that he’ll put in more work.
That’s the thing, in this industry nothing is ever “deserved” it’s all earned. It’s about putting in the work to succeed. I’ve just got to put in more work is all.
And that’s okay, this is where I thrive! #OAO https://t.co/JMDAVYbW9C

Ricochet’s WWE Run is less than satisfactory
Well, even if the rumors were true, Ricochet’s departure would have been totally justified. Before WWE, he had a great run in Lucha Underground and New Japan Pro Wrestling. Therefore, fans wished to see more for him as he signed with WWE.
He has shown immense potential as a solo wrestler in NXT. However, since his move into the main roster, the wrestler is being used as a jobber.

Recently, he got paired up with Cedric Alexander and Apollo Crews. But then, Alexander betrayed him and Crews to join the Hurt Business. Looking at the latter’s involvement with the Retribution, Alexander and Ricochet’s storyline is presumably dead.
Despite being a great wrestler, it is sad to see Ricochet getting shoved. However, since he is not going anywhere, hopefully, WWE will appreciate him with a good storyline and a title reign.
