On the latest episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair fired shots at John Cena during his segment with Randy Orton following the latter’s match against Kevin Owens.
Flair made it crystal clear that he wanted Randy Orton to break one of his all-time records and not John Cena.

The record he’s talking about here is the one for most Championships reigns in WWE history. “The Nature Boy” has a total of 16 World Championship Titles to his name throughout his professional wrestling career.
This huge collection involves his impressive resume as an 8-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion, 6-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion, and a two-time WWF Champion. Flair himself claims that the actual number is 21, but the other 5 titles cannot be accounted for.
Randy Orton on the other hand, has a respectable 13 Championship reigns under his belt. “The Viper” is a 9-time WWE Champion and a 4-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion. He needs just three more to break the greatest record of them all.
However, stopping him in his tracks is, of course, John Cena. “The Cenator” is a 13-time WWE Champion and a 3-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion. This brings his tally to 16 as well, tying Ric Flair.
Ric Flair encouraged Orton to go for the record
Although Randy is a bit far off from this, Flair encouraged him to go for it. “The Legend Killer” looks to bring his number to 14 at SummerSlam as he takes on “The Scottish Psychopath” Drew McIntyre in a match for the WWE Championship.
Cena seems to be on a break from WWE and his return is not on the cards. Randy could take advantage of this time and bridge the gap.
Even after these words of wisdom and inspiration, Flair got betrayed yet again. Randy Orton delivered a low blow when his back was turned and went on to deliver a devastating punt to Flair.
Ric Flair is now the latest name to be crossed out of “The Legend Killer”’s hit-list. Before Orton could do any more damage, McIntyre himself arrived to intervene.

The segment itself built up the hype a lot around SummerSlam. What was truly astounding was the amount of emotion Flair was able to put in his words. The 71-year-old former Superstar showed us he still has the performer in him by delivering a truly sensational segment.
