Randy Orton couldn’t be part of this year’s WWE Draft, as he was out of action due to his back injury. This means he is currently a free agent in the Stamford-based promotion. Orton is a hot favorite and whichever brand he will go to will have more star power just by his mere presence.
That said, both Raw and SmackDown are looking forward to getting ‘The Viper’ on the blue brand’s latest episode, but which brand will get him?

SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis was just all set with the contract papers for ‘The Viper’ to sign with the blue brand when Raw General Manager Adam Pearce appeared with a contract of his own. Both the WWE general managers know how big of a draw Orton is, therefore they both were fighting for the recently returned superstar in a backstage segment.
Adam Pierce and Nick Aldis both are gonna present their contracts to ‘The Apex Predator’ on SmackDown tonight. We’ll find out which brand will Orton choose.

The main event of this week’s Friday Night SmackDown featured Orton standing inside the ring alongside Aldis and Pierce. Both the general managers tried their best to convince ‘The Apex Predator’ to join their respective brands. After a while, the segment was interrupted by Paul Heyman.

‘The Wiseman’ was not alone. Jey Uso and Solo Sikoa accompanied him. The Bloodline then attacked Orton to scare him off and make his sign with RAW. However, their efforts were rendered unsuccessful when LA Knight came to Orton’s rescue.
Bloodline had hoped that they would intimidate ‘The Viper’ into signing with Raw. But the opposite happened. After Orton and Knight took care of The Bloodline business, Orton was 100% sure that he wants to pursue taking revenge on The Bloodline who cost him 18 months of his career.

Orton tosses the Raw contract and signed the SmackDown contract, declaring a war against Reigns and his family. After Orton signed the SmackDown contract, Nick Aldis came to celebrate alongside ‘The Apex Predator’. But no one is safe around Orton. His happened soon turned to misery when Orton RKO-ed the SmackDown GM in the middle of the ring.
‘The Apex Predator’ is now a SmackDown star and will be appearing on the blue brand hence forth.
