WWE President Nick Khan is never really present backstage to oversee shows. However, prior to Extreme Rules 2021, Khan was present on WWE SmackDown: September 24th, 2021.

It’s unknown exactly why he was present backstage, but it’s reported he accompanied that Vince McMahon and others during the entire show. Now, since Khan is never actually present, it raises questions as to why he was there and what it means for the company and the shows.

This could become one of the changes for the company, considering Vince McMahon probably wants to bring about changes to the flagship shows, Raw and SmackDown.

WWE SmackDown could face changes following WWE NXT

Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard have reportedly taken over WWE NXT’s production. If not all of it, McMahon was present on WWE NXT 2.0’s first episode, and even went over the script with WWE’s lead writer.

Hence, it’s possible WWE is considering changes to Raw and SmackDown as well. Nick Khan being present on SmackDown could be a sign that WWE’s officials are preparing to change how SmackDown is going to be in the future.

As of now, not much can be said about what the company is actually planning or exactly why WWE President Nick Khan was present. Hopefully, the fans will know more as time passes by.

Could the possible changes come by after Extreme Rules?

WWE Extreme Rules 2021 is a much awaited event for the fans. Primarily because almost all major titles are being put on the line. Not only that, but the major titles could change hands at the event.

Following Extreme Rules 2021, the company could bring about changes for the flagship shows. Whether they will be as major as NXT or smaller changes is unknown.

It doesn’t seem like the company will change the logo or the theme. Nevertheless, there could be changes to the way the company moved forward with storylines, feuds, and other elements related to the in-ring matches.

It’s only a matter of time before the company gets to know if the company is changing anything on Raw or SmackDown!
