There is no doubt in anyone in the WWE locker room or the audience who doesn’t think that Brock Lesnar is a beast. And that idol was none other than Hulk Hogan. The man that Lesnar brutalized in a match during his first Beast run. Hogan, in a surprising result, lost to the young gun who bled him in the match and broke more than just his bones. Surprising result because Hogan is still considered to be one of the wrestlers from the golden age, who believe in young wrestlers paying their dues, before winning big matches. So, letting Lesnar walk all through him during the first few years of the 20-something was unbelievable.

A rare photo shows Brock Lesnar unleashing his Hulkamania spirit

In this photo from WWE.com, we can clearly see a young Brock Lesnar with his trusted advocate, Paul Heyman. In the photo, Lesnar is smug at something that clearly makes Heyman shocked. The history between Hogan and Lesnar is one that intrigues many people. Not only they had a match in the early 2000s, but Lesnar also crashed the leader of Hulkamania’s birthday celebration thrown by WWE. The two are from distant generations but show much similarity as Lesnar has turned babyface, ever since returning in 2021.

Lesnar is one of the biggest babyfaces in the company right now, just like Hogan was back in the day. Also, WWE makes Lesnar return at the most crucial time when they want the biggest arenas filled and tickets sold, just like how Vince McMahon used to do with Hogan. While there may be many differences in their fighting background, the defining thing about their WWE characters are the two moves that finish both of their matches.
