Wrestler-turned-actor John Cena is an established name in the wrestling world. The 16-time world champion has had an illustrious career in wrestling. Cena has recently shifted his attention to Hollywood bagging some major roles with big studios. He has undoubtedly increased his reach when it comes to fan following. However, an incident from the past has left much to be desired.
Cena was attending the 2016 Daytona Classic when the said incident took place. He was at the event to drive the honorary pace car, a feat bestowed upon only a few.

Footage appeared online, showing John Cena being royally ignored by a NASCAR reporter. Cena looked as perplexed as the fans at the reporter’s ignorance and was caught off-guard.
Having had a career to remember in WWE, it’s only fair that John Cena is constantly surrounded by his die-hard fans. The popular catchphrase of the actor “You Can’t See Me” isn’t surely meant to be taken in its literal form. But this was certainly the case when the reporter completely ignored Cena’s presence as if he was not even there.
Cena’s acting career has taken off with aplomb
A switch from the squared circle to Hollywood is nothing new for wrestlers. We needn’t look too far as Dwayne Johnson is a prime example of undergoing this particular career change. And John Cena has certainly had a blockbuster start to his movie career. He starred in successful franchises such as Suicide Squad and Fast and Furious in the initial phase of his career. He is also a part of the recently premiered TV Series, The Independent.

The WWE legend has all the reasons to feel a bit disappointed by this treatment by the reporter in 2016. But even he would agree that the reporter was probably doing her job covering the Daytona Classic event. Cena was popular then, but his stardom has reached a very high level in the past few years. Thus it would be very surprising if any presenter or reporter ‘Can’t See’ the Cenation Leader in the present day or age.
