Since Brock Lesnar returned in 2012, he has faced various opponents from the current generation. However, his feuds with all the Shield members Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose aka Jon Moxley are memorable. Also, his matches with The Undertaker and Triple H are also famous.

Lesnar since returning is not just winning every match but has also lost a few to new superstars to make them top stars. He has lost to Rollins and Reigns, helping WWE to put over its next two top stars.

A few months ago, JBL in the ‘JBL Q&A-Dusty ‘rodeo’ story episode on his Stories With Brisco And Bradshaw podcast, recalled the first time he met Brock Lesnar. He shared how Lesnar was willing to lose against him at a live event in Abilene, Texas.

JBL said, “I was working with Brock in Abilene and I said to him, ‘Hey, Brock, I wanna talk to you,’ and Brock responded, ‘Yeah, yeah, yeah, your college buddies are here. I’m gonna put you over.’ I said, ‘Brock, they don’t care who goes over. I couldn’t care less. If you win, I win, it doesn’t matter.’ I said, ‘We’re going to a place afterwards,’ and that’s what I was telling him.”

Brock Lesnar has been careful in building a reputation of a pretty mean guy on screen. But there are a few stories of his good deeds out there like the one JBL shared.

As per JBL, Lesnar assumed the Hall of Famer wanted to put The Beast over in front of his friends. However, Lesnar was willing to take the loss to make his opponent look good in front of his friends. Lesnar wanted JBL to have the victory fun with his friends who were in the crowd that night.

Brock Lesnar returned to WWE on SmackDown a couple of weeks ago. This was his first appearance since losing to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 38. The Beast will face The Tribal Chief once again at SummerSlam for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

Brock Lesnar gave the idea to open WrestleMania 35 against Seth Rollins

While talking about the backstage celebration between themselves, Seth Rollins revealed Brock Lesnar came up with the idea of opening the event.

He said, “Initially when the card first came out, we were supposed to go on right before them [first women’s main event]. Brock was like, No, we need to do something different. It’s going to hurt both matches if they’re back-to-back… It’s going to take the wind out of the sails of both finishes. We need to switch this up, let’s do something we’ve never done. Let’s go on first.” (H/T Givemesport)
