The WWE Universe dearly misses Randy Orton. It’s been over a year since Orton last wrestled. With each passing premium live event, fans hope to see the much-awaited return of the Viper. However, they end up disappointed. The Viper’s extended absence from the spotlight has turned anything related to him into a subject of conversation. 

That said, one of his relatives’ remarkable acts of heroism has become a trending topic on social media. In a pretty shocking video, Randy Orton’s cousin is seen fending off a bully from assaulting a senior citizen

On Instagram, Randy Orton’s cousin, whose name is Jay Garcia, posted a video of him thwarting an attack on an old man on the bustling streets of New York City. Garcia’s presence proved to be fortuitous for the victim, as the former fended off the attacker with his powerful bellow. He wrote, “It gets crazy in #nyc sometimes you gotta be the one to save somebody! Glad i was there to help”. 

Jay Garcia deserves applause for personifying the values of valor and compassion by standing up against bullies in this unsafe world. Anyway, Garcia has been seen multiple times alongside Randy Orton on TikTok videos. Furthermore, the multi-time World Champion also often promotes Garcia’s talk show, “The Jay Garcia Show”.

In a humorous video from five years ago, we saw Garcia promoting his talk show on camera, only to be caught off guard by the Viper, who sneakily executed an RKO on him in the pool.

Anyway, it’s a sure bet that Garcia’s actions would have been much appreciated by the wrestling legend. Switching gears, with Payback fast approaching, it remains to be seen if fans finally get what they have been clamoring for 15 months. 

Who did Randy Orton last compete against?

Before Randy Orton went on a hiatus due to his grave back injury, he got embroiled in a feud with The Usos. Orton’s last match came on May 20, 2022. At the time, The Viper was the Raw Tag Team Champion alongside Matt Riddle. 

However, they ended up losing their titles against The Usos in a winner-take-all tag team match. After the twins defeated RK-BRO, they joined Roman Reigns and put Orton on the shelf. Although a lot of time has passed, the likelihood of his return remains uncertain.
