Randy Orton is WWE’s most malicious character. From hitting RKOs on Mae Young and Stacy Keibler to setting the Undertaker and The Fiend on fire, Orton’s list of heinous acts goes on and on. However, the Viper recently committed a life-saving deed during his match against AJ Styles on Monday Night Raw.

Towards the end of Raw’s main event, Randy Orton set up for the RKO, but Omos pulled AJ Styles out of the ring. Just as this happened, the lights in the arena turned purple and Alexa Bliss appeared on the screen. Bliss pulled out a match and lit it, before blowing it out. As she blew it out, the ring posts exploded into flames.
Prior to the ring posts exploding, Orton motioned to the referee to move away from the turnbuckles. It is unclear whether the referee knew if the turnbuckles would explode, but Randy knew and he saved the referee from suffering a serious injury.
@RandyOrton literally saved the referee's life damn! During the main event, Orton waved at the referee right at the last moment because he was too close to a corner of the ring where the fire was going to come out from.

This gesture from Orton was truly heroic and absolutely commendable. The awareness to get a fellow employee out of danger is an extremely good deed, even though most people did not even notice it. Some fans noticed it and tweeted about Orton’s heroism.
Orton is a sniveling heel, but his soft side isn’t hidden too deep. At Survivor Series 2016, Randy Orton comforted Shane McMahon’s son after he suffered a concussion taking a Spear in mid-air. To this date, it remains one of the most touching moments fans have seen live by a heel wrestler.

Orton will most likely be facing The Fiend at WrestleMania 37. His issues with Bray Wyatt began all the way in October when he won the WWE Championship at Hell in a Cell. The Fiend had only recently joined Raw in the Brand Split, and Orton already had a target on his back.
After Randy Orton lost the WWE Championship, The Fiend continued to be a thorn in his side, until they faced off at TLC 2020. At TLC, Orton set the Fiend on fire to win the Firefly Inferno match and seemingly killed the Fiend character. However, Alexa Bliss began tormenting the Viper for his actions and it’s only a matter of time till the Fiend returns to take revenge.

A cinematic match might be appropriate for WrestleMania, given how successful the Firefly Funhouse match against Cena was. One can expect a cinematic masterpiece from Orton and Wyatt at the Show of Shows, a match that will hopefully put this feud to rest.
