Mental health issues have been a salient point of talk in the WWE Universe for ages. A strenuous schedule, continuous cosplaying, and competitive pressure often land the wrestlers on opposite sides of all the glamor and fame that the industry has to offer. From Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson to Brock Lesnar, many veterans in the business have already been vocal about the struggle with depression and the road to overcome it in the past. Now, Randy Orton, 44, became the latest one to join the line.
The Viper opened up in a fan’s DM about his blemished physical and mental health during the prolonged WWE hiatus and that fan couldn’t help sharing his gift with the rest of the world.

At 2023’s Survivor Series, the Apex Predator resumed his WWE role after an 18-month hiatus due to a severe back injury sustained in May 2022. Now, he has again regained his mojo as a huge babyface on the blue brand getting on the nerves of the new Bloodline alongside Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes. But the journey was not a smooth ride for the former WWE World Champion. He has dealt with a lot of issues in the locked room that the world was unaware of until now. A random fan messaged him on social media asking for some personal life counsel. The most stunning thing was he got a reply from the man himself and the fan chose to enlighten us about it as well. The fan revealed in the captions that he was initially hesitant to share Orton’s message publicly, but ultimately decided to do so in hopes it might help others facing similar situations.
Orton demonstrated his depressive headspace during a long absence period from the ring and then how a disciplined lifestyle, a healthy diet, and regular exercise did wonders for him. He asked the fan not to give up on life, as there are many alternative ways to beat depression while solely acknowledging the impact of it. The fan revealed in the captions that he was initially hesitant about sharing the message from Orton so publically, but chose to do it anyway because it may help others who are going through similar circumstances.
Honestly I wasn’t intending to reveal it here, but I think anyone who looks up to Randy Orton and is struggling mentally should see this. It’s pretty motivating.
I hope you’re all okay and his words help you ❤️
