Randy Orton Credits His Wife and WWE Legend for Helping Him With Attitude Issues: ‘My Wife Had a Lot to Do in Opening My Eyes’

Randy Orton, when he was a young superstar, walked around with the expression of an angry young man. But, as days moved on and he grew as a person and a pro-wrestler, his attitude changed.

While chatting on The Ringer Wrestling Show, The Viper spoke about how his changing role in his family resulted in his becoming a changed person altogether.

“I think being a father changed me. I think my wife kinda had a lot to do in opening my eyes. But, it’s been a group effort.”

Undoubtedly, Orton is an incredible father and husband. In fact, he had an entire WWE Raw arena wish his daughter a happy birthday after the live show went off the air.

Now, that’s a moment she’ll remember for the rest of her life.

While talking on The Ringer Wrestling Show, ‘The Legend Killer’, explained how he has faced embarrassment when someone brought up a story from the past.

“You’re definitely correct. I think there’s a lot of different reasons for that, just you know, learning from your mistakes is one of them. You know, every once in while there’d be a cameraman or a lighting guy that’s been us for as long as I’ve been with the company.”

“And they’ll be like, remember that time and think it was ’05 when you did blah blah blah blah blah and then they’d proceed to tell a story in front of a group of people that just paints me in the worst light and it’s embarrassing. It’s like ‘man, I was an a**hole.” H/t The Ringer Wrestling Show

Now, of course, Orton changed with time! Can you imagine the previous Randy Orton teaming up with Matt Riddle and tolerating him for so long?

In fact, when Orton teamed up with Riddle, the fans were rather taken aback. However, Orton and Riddle made it work and the fans couldn’t get enough of them!

But, if this was before, it’s quite possible by now Orton would have RKO’d to Riddle following his antics.
