The Judgment Day has been a heel faction since its inception. In fact, even though the stable now seems well-glued together, they are known for the betraying act that they pulled off with founder Edge. And now, not just the WWE Universe, but AEW talents are also using this painful story to provoke the Rated-R Superstar.
During the latest AEW Dynamite episode, Christian Cage called out his former best friend. Taking their ongoing feud further, Cage looked back at Edge’s tragic leave from The Judgment Day.

Rhea Ripley and her teammates consider themselves the best faction in the promotion. However, that’s not what Cage thinks at all. The 49-year-old is currently feuding with his former teammate Edge. The Rated-R Superstar had warned him against his acquaintances, Luchasaurus and Nick Wayne. According to the ex-WWE star, these two will betray Cage just the way The Judgment Day turned their backs on Edge. When Cage realized where Edge’s warning was coming from, he roasted the heel faction from WWE Raw.
During the ongoing war between WWE and AEW fans on Dynamite shifting to Tuesday on the same day as NXT, Cage’s comment added some extra fire. During the episode, he said, “Well, the difference is, Adam… I didn’t take some rag-tag group, dress them up like it’s Halloween, and convince them they are tough guys.”
His comment surely would’ve made Mami angrier than Edge would be. But it’s unlikely that fans will see The Judgment Day taking their revenge on Cage.

After the Hall of Famer had his final match in WWE, fans speculated he would come to AEW. The reason behind the same was that his former tag team partner, Christian, was already a part of the main roster there. Moreover, their old rivals, Hardy Boyz, are also working under the same promotion. And even though his appearance-related speculation came true at AEW WrestleDream, the storyline he followed was completely opposite to what was expected.
