With recent news bringing a downer to AEW All In last week, fans have had their interests piqued by what seems to be a Roman Reigns tie-in in the title match. Just a few hours ago, CM Punk was confirmed as terminated from his contract with AEW. The announcement came as an investigation into Punk’s altercation with “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry was concluded.

Following the announcement, fans are viewing Punk’s last AEW match with Samoa Joe in a new light. In the title match for All In, Punk took on Joe for the Real World Championship, successfully defending his title. The fight was truly something to behold, especially against Punk’s history with Joe for the last 18 years in the indie circuit.

But the moment where Punk exited the ring has caused a stir amongst fans, thanks to its resemblance to The Tribal Chief.
