Bryan Danielson was a major asset of WWE before he found his way to Tony Khan’s promotion back in 2021. The American Dragon touched many big milestones during his WWE run, including winning the iconic WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 30 on April 6th, 2014. He even formed an important part of the WWE creative and seemingly had a good rapport with the company.
However, the short-lived glory came to an end with a gruesome injury for which he had to give up on his title. During that tough time, he was never helpless as WWE producer Jamie Noble was there by his side. Jamie produced matches, which are safer for the injured wrestler, and thankfully it worked well.
Why did Bryan Danielson leave WWE?

But the question that pops up here is why The American Dragon decided to leave WWE. The veteran star himself once came up with this much sought-after answer. He revealed it was his own weird feeling that caused him to leave Standford’s company and explore his feet somewhere else. Detailing the reason, the former world champion noted, ‘I felt very out of the body in it. When I’m wrestling, I feel everything and feel like I’m enjoying it and I am having fun. This was weird, I was out there and it felt like I was detached. It was really bizarre. I don’t know why or how it happened, but it was unlike anything I’ve felt while wrestling before.’
However, the GOAT also noted that another reason for leaving his decorative WWE career behind was paying more attention to his role as a father. AEW has a less hectic schedule than WWE’s was, hence, it was a perfect catch for him at that time.
Fans have different opinions on Bryan Danielson’s potential WWE comeback
Currently, the star is seated quite well with Tony Khan’s company. He last wrestled against MJF for the AEW World Championship at the AEW Revolution. Though he failed to win, it didn’t fade his glorious performance at all. The one question that divides his fan base in recent times is whether he will come back to WWE in the future or continue to try his feet in AEW.
After a recent tweet broke out questioning this possibility, fans didn’t wait to rush to the comment threads to put their different opinions on it. Some strongly believe he is better off being in the AEW forever considering the former WWE sensation’s splendid job at AEW so far. Moreover, he looks more satisfied than ever while wrestling under Khan’s promotion.
Obviously not. His match catalog in AEW so far is INSANE. He is killing it.

Some think he did everything that he can under WWE. Now he better consider the other promotions as well.
He didn't have anything to prove by staying in WWE.

There are a fair amount of people who still have hope to have him back with WWE after the end of his contract with AEW. Though they seemed to keep his own independent wish over their desire.
Bryan Danielson could have stayed in WWE but he wanted to face other wrestlers and you can't be mad at him about that it was his choice but I think when his contract is up he'll be back WWE

As only time will unfold whether the 3 times World Champion will have another run with WWE or not, we can’t do anything but wait as of now.
