Following the Attitude Era of WWE, the promotion started following the TV-PG guidelines to cater to a larger audience that came in all ages. But ever since Dwayne Johnson returned to the Stamford-based company in 2024, these guidelines can be seen diminishing in a drastic manner. Starting at the WrestleMania XL Kick-Off event, we saw The Rock publicly throw F-bombs. This marked the beginning of something new in WWE.
Recently, a WWE legend pointed out that Johnson is bringing back the ‘Attitude Era’. Since the audience is loving the TV-PG guideline breach so far, they would also like to know what Mark Henry has to say about the same.

Since his heel turn at the Kick-Off event in Las Vegas this year, Johnson has not shied away from using F-bombs on live TV. This was then followed by other top stars following suit. During a recent promo on Raw, we also saw plenty of blood being used, which was something that WWE had prohibited for a long time.
Mark Henry talked about the new creative changes in WWE on Busted Open and said, “When you talk about pushing the envelope, Attitude Era pushed the envelope. And over the last two-three weeks, we’ve had F-bombs, we’ve had ‘son of a b**ch’ said on TV, we’ve seen blood multiple times and we had the kinda talk that makes you go ‘Oh I don’t know if the kids should be in here.’”
He further added, “Not to mention, everybody knows that the show is going to Netflix. Which, at that point, you pull the gloves off.”
Although the living legend didn’t directly credit The Brahma Bull for the same, the fans know that’s how it all started this year. Moreover, Henry believes that this will only grow further because of the Netflix-Raw deal starting in January 2025.
While the former wrestler doesn’t particularly have a problem with this change, another WWE legend had something to say about the guideline breach.

WWE legend spoke on Dwayne Johnson’s TV-PG breach
Kevin Nash recently sat down in another episode of Kliq This. There, the former wrestler talked about how The People’s Champion has started breaching the TV-PG guidelines recently. According to these guidelines, a movie or show is allowed to have one F-bomb. Lately, we have seen more than one F-bomb dropped on live TV by major wrestling talents.
While Nash doesn’t list having a problem with the breach, in particular, he objected to why it is only restricted to the top stars of the company.
