On night 2 of WrestleMania 40, Cody Rhodes won the biggest match of his career by dethroning Roman Reigns and becoming world champion for the first time in his career. That match had several interventions, with The Rock, the Final Boss in the Road to WrestleMania, being one of the most prominent.

In the episode of RAW after the big event, it was clear that The Rock and Rhodes were far from having settled their feud. And now that The Brahma Bull has started training in MMA, fans are surely getting nervous about the fate of Cody Rhodes. As of now, he will have to face Johnson who knows MMA in WrestleMania 41.

The Rock trains hard to master MMA

Recently a clip has been making rounds on X that shows the Rock training in MMA. While speculation exists that it is for an upcoming fight, as suggested by the caption of the post that reads “WE HAVE TO PROTECT CODY RHODES FROM THIS”, it is actually for his upcoming movie project. The People’s Champ is known for doing movies where he can always show off his physical gifts or his characters share similarities in attitude or appearance. So it is already common to see memes about his “roles” on social networks. Now, after failing with Black Adam, The Rock will bet on a challenge in his career by starring in a film by A24 studio, based on the life of two-time UFC heavyweight champion Mark Kerr.

And it is for this movie that the Rock has started training in MMA. However, that does not mean that he cannot use the moves against the American Nightmare. In fact, it is being rumored that the Final Boss actually may use a move or two. So we can surely say that Mama Rhodes will see Cody Rhodes bleed. And fans are already getting nervous for Rhodes.
