Rhea Ripley has been making waves in professional wrestling since the start of 2023. The story began when she joined forces with The Judgment Day, a group led by Edge and Damian Priest. However, the group dynamics changed when Finn Balor ousted Edge and welcomed Dominik Mysterio into the fold.

Her journey to the top started with a bang this year when Ripley won in the women’s Royal Rumble Match, earning herself the golden ticket. The match was on 29th January 2023. It gave her the right to challenge a title of her choosing at WrestleMania 39. Her determination led to a thrilling victory over Charlotte Flair, earning her the SmackDown Women’s Title on the first night of the grand event.

As WWE evolved, titles changed. Ripley now holds the Women’s World Championship, rebranded on June 12, 2023, during Monday Night Raw. This journey has led Ripley to a significant milestone in her wrestling career–she has now held the title for over 200 days. Rhea Ripley’s Crown Jewel showdown and closing in on Gunther’s title reign

WWE has just announced on Monday Night Raw this week that will have Ripley put her title on the line in a fatal 5-way match at the Crown Jewel PLE event in Saudi Arabia on November 4th. This epic showdown will see Ripley face off against Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler, Zoey Stark, and Raquel Rodriguez in a battle that is sure to keep fans on the edge of their seats.

October 18 marked Ripley’s 200th day as the WWE Women’s World Champion. It also encompasses her previous reign as the SmackDown Women’s Champion.

Gunther‘s reign as Intercontinental Champion has reached an impressive 457 days, surpassing the long-standing record set by The Honky Tonk Man back in 1988, which was 453 days. Meanwhile, Ripley is currently experiencing her lengthiest solo championship run, beginning with her becoming the inaugural NXT UK Women’s Champion on June 18, 2018.

Ripley’s journey to the top of the WWE has been nothing short of remarkable, and she’s not about to let go of her title without a fight. As she prepares for her next challenge in the ring, all eyes are on Ripley as she comes closer to Gunther’s historic title reign.
