As his debut in DC Extended Universe, Johnson got the role of an antihero, a rival of Shazam. His character becomes the immortal “champion” of the Gods, which is made evident since he looks more powerful than anyone else.

While sharing the picture of his specially shaped muscular body, the Black Adam actor reflected on his ‘real science’ theory. He also admitted that the intense training and conditioning he did for this role is unlike any other of his previous works. However, The Rock couldn’t have done without the help of his coach, Dave Rienzi, who lay down the strategies beforehand. Further, he talked about real science that takes months and months to show the ultimate result.

To be more precise, he discusses the science behind the extensive workout and building a muscular body like his. Some of his examples included manipulating water, sodium, and cardio combined with extreme routine with real iron to have dense, dry, detailed muscle.
The Rock set the bar high
All his efforts didn’t go in vain and earned him a special place in his fans’ hearts. Johnson did everything to look perfect for the character. What this resulted in is that he didn’t need any extra muscle padding in the costume. He wanted to set the bar high for other actors while delivering a role like this, and he definitely did.

The actor clarified this through his one tweet, where he shared the true story of removing all muscle padding from the original Black Adam suit. The Rock has always over-delivered than the expectations from him. We wish he continues to do so every possible time.
