Black Adam is finally out in the theaters, and fans are going crazy over it. Although the film opened to terrible reviews on the web, the fans still stormed into the theaters to glimpse the DC anti-hero and the much-rumored cameo of another superhero.

Dwayne Johnson had been involved in this project for many years, and the current response from the fans seems to make his hard work worthwhile. The poor reviews on the internet do not seem to harm the buzz around Black Adam and the movie is going strong.

After working extremely hard on the film, the efforts are visible in the fan reactions. Fans on Twitter went crazy after the initial reviews of the films came out. They claimed to visit the theaters anyway and did not care about the low scores.

However, recently Dwayne Johnson himself took to Twitter, to post a funny video related to Black Adam. The video shows a group of friends carrying their unresponsive superman fan out of the theaters after watching Black Adam.

The Rock, shared the Tweet, and wrote, “The POWER of #BlackAdam“ and claimed the new era of DCEU to have arrived.

Black Adam received negative reviews from critics for its depiction of violence and repetitive action sequences. However, it also received praise for its plot, CGI, and acting. The film catered to the fans, and brought back Henry Cavill as Superman, after several teases were going on.

Will there be a Black Adam 2?

Although Warner Bros. and DC have not confirmed a direct sequel to Black Adam, from the way the film ended, a sequel can be expected. The film’s end credits saw Henry Cavill returning as Superman and confronting Dwayne Johnson‘s Black Adam.

Although no confirmation has been provided, a potential setup between these two stalwarts can be expected in the near future. As for the date, nothing has been confirmed as well. But it can be indeed said, that it won’t be in 2023.

2023 already has a packed-up line of DC films releasing such as Shazam 2, Aquaman 2 and Flash. Except Flash, all the others to be released are direct sequels of their first films, and we can expect a Black Adam and superman reference from these films. Ben Affleck is also rumored to return as Batman in the future. Moreover, 2023 will be another massive year for DJ as his potential return to the WWE might also happen.

These three giants, Batman, Superman, and Black Adam, might face-off against each other or work together, but whatever it be, it surely would be enough to grab eyeballs.
