Back in 2018, 4 years before the hit show, Peacemaker hit the screens, John Cena brought out his inner creative self. He transformed himself into a children’s author much like Mick Foley and started writing books for children.
In 2018, Cena came out with his first children’s book, ‘Elbow Grease.’ And, gradually over the years, he published eight other books in the same series, turning the total to nine. The books became an instant hit with the children.
During the press release for his book in 2018, Cena said, “With Elbow Grease and the books to follow, I want to offer kids a fun and engaging way to learn about the power of ambition, dedication, and heart.”
Cena has always been one of the most popular actors in Hollywood and had done several projects. However, in 2022, when Cena’s Peacemaker hit the television screens, he shot to fame. The series took Cena to major new heights and made him more popular than ever. And, now with Fast X, his stock keeps rising.
Following the much-praised path of the hardcore legend, Cena chose to write books for children. Foley is a well-established author in this genre and is currently helping Becky Lynch out with her memoir. With his experience and talent, he probably inspired Cena as well. And, Cena brought out his writing skills years after he wrote his own rap songs.

Early on in his career, Cena was a fan of freestyling and was often found doing it. He even wrote his own songs and sang them. His gimmick required him to rap during his promos, which were written by Cena himself.
