WWE Survivor Series is around the corner. But the blue brand of WWE is yet to confirm the fifth member of Team SmackDown for the Men’s 5 on 5 Traditional Tag Team match. But there is no short of talent in the blue brand of WWE. Next week on SmackDown, we will finally get to know who that fifth member is. But Von Wagner, who currently performs on NXT 2.0, is also a possibility for the fifth spot.
Von Wagner made a surprise appearance during tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown. The NXT superstar was involved in a backstage segment with Sami Zayn and Adam Pearce. Speaking of Sami Zayn, his loss to Jeff Hardy tonight made him lose his spot from Team SmackDown, keeping the doors open for that fifth spot in Team SmackDown.

Following Wagner’s surprise appearance on SmackDown, we might see Wagner bagging that fifth spot in next week’s episode of WWE SmackDown. It might happen that Wagner will defeat Zayn in a match to claim the spot. But this is just a prediction. We will definitely find it out next week on WWE SmackDown.

Will Von Wagner make it to the main roster?
Von Wagner is currently a part of the NXT 2.0 roster. The NXT superstar made his NXT debut in September in a Fatal 4-Way Match for the NXT Championship. Though Wagner was unsuccessful in claiming the title, he impressed everyone with his in-ring skills.
Wagner is currently in a tag team with Kyle O’Reilly. But following his appearance on tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown, it could very well mean that he’s slated to get called up to the main roster soon.
That would also put an end to the team of Wagner and Kyle O’Reilly. O’Reilly’s contract is about to expire and WWE might not renew it.
