Fans are eagerly waiting for the latest edition of the WWE 2K game developed by Visual Concepts which will be available by 8th March. As the release date inches closer, WWE 2K is providing us with more updates on the game. A new tweet has revealed Post Malone’s role in the new game will follow in the footsteps of John Cena and Machine Gun Kelly. He will also appear in a special role besides his usual forte.
Post Malone features as the Executive Soundtrack Producer in WWE 2K24
WWE 2K24 took to X on February 16th to post an update about the latest edition of the WWE 2K game. As per the tweet, rapper Post Malone worked as the Executive Soundtrack Producer of the game. The tweet also revealed a set of 12 songs that would feature in the game.

The songs are House Fire by Tyler Childers, Laugh It Off and Chemical by Post Malone, Mystery by Turnstile, Do It Faster by Miutarie Gun, Genesis by Grimes, Not That Nice by Speed, Better Off by Yeat, Motorcycle by Colter Wall, Big Rig by Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs, Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See by Busta Rhymes, and Hand Crushed By A Mallet by 100 Gecs.

Last year, John Cena served as the Executive Soundtrack Producer for the game. He was also the poster boy. The game included a set of 12 songs including songs from legendary metal band Metallica and popular pop artist Doja Cat. It also included one song by Post Malone who will also appear in another role.

Post Malone follows Machine Gun Kelly and Bad Bunny
Well, Post Malone is a part of the game not just as an Executive Soundtrack Producer but also as a playable character. Malone responded through X on February 16th and said, “Hey guys, just got scanned for 2K24. I can’t wait for you guys to play as me. This has been a total blast and hope you guys have a lot of fun playing me. You guys have a lot of cool ideas. I’m super excited and I love you guys very much.”

Interestingly, this isn’t the first instance of a celebrity from the entertainment industry featuring as a playable character in the game. In the edition of WWE 2K22, Machine Gun Kelly featured as the Executive Soundtrack Producer and a playable character in a similar manner. Other than MGK, Bad Bunny has also appeared as a playable character but he was also a part of Roaster as a celebrity performer.
