As we already know, for the past two months, the Writers Guild of America has been on strike. But on July 14th, 2023, the Screen Actors Guild also followed them on strike as their deal with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers also went south. The SAG has more than 160,000 actors in its members, including The Rock.

This means that The Rock can’t possibly work on a movie, both in the production or pre-production phase. Given that only a few of his movies are in the post-production, it’ll take a lot of work off of his chest until the strike ends.

But as they say, when one door closes, another opens, The Rock might just be looking at the recently opened door of WWE. Over the years, we have come to know that shooting schedules have stopped The Brahma Bull from coming over to his second home, but there will be no shooting schedules for a while at the moment. So it is a possibility that the former WWE Champion may choose to hop over to WWE while Hollywood fixes its current state of affairs. Away from The Bloodline story, there are also other stories that Johnson could explore. His recent Grayson Waller roast on Twitter also caught the eye of many fans. Even in his recent SmackDown appearance, Waller hinted at this feud, so it looks like it could be possible sooner rather than later.
