This may have been a sign that is said to have been placed there so that WWE could indicate to the WWE Universe that the faction Damage CTRL had changed its ways, or that the faction had become a babyface. Furthermore, we could tell throughout the segment that the group had expressed regret in their prior actions.

This point came up because Nikki Cross has not yet made her in-ring debut. Therefore this could be the ideal opportunity for her to safeguard the babyfaces and return to the ring. The faction has undertaken a vow to exact vengeance on those who had turned their backs on family and Nile’s recent actions indicate a shade of grey that might not be appreciated by the sinister faction.
