The Miz’s second title reign began on February 21st, by cashing in his Money in the Bank contract and defeating Drew McIntyre with a little help from Bobby Lashley. Though it was the short title reign last mere eight days, still it can’t fade the glory of the Awesome One. An exhilarating locker room reaction seconded it.
One of those present in the locker room back then was Dijak, who spent time on the main roster as T-Bar, and he clearly remembered how all the other members of the locker room ‘popped huge’ following the Miz’s title win. The former NXT star shared a tweet from Public Enemies Podcast depicting Miz’s tough days as a wrestler.
Describing his journey ‘From outcast to leader, Dijak wrote in the caption, ‘Two years ago it was the middle of the pandemic, and it was the end of the night so there was probably only 15-20 of us left, but let me tell you the entire locker room was watching the monitor when @mikethemiz won the WWE Title and we all popped huge. From outcast to leader.’
