“Please Stop”, “%10000 Disagree”: WWE Legend’s Latest Remark on Roman Reigns Sparks a Familiar Debate

Being a champion in WWE is one honor that all wrestlers strive to achieve throughout their careers. And very few have the chance to put the coveted championship belts around their waist. But there are a few privileged stars who not only get the titles but also hold on to them for a very long time. As in the case of ‘The Tribal Chief’ Roman Reigns who has been the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion for 1,083+ days.

But a Hall of Famer thinks it is apt that Roman Reigns becomes the longest reigning champion in WWE history.

Kurt Angle wants Roman Reigns to break Bruno Sammartino’s record of 2,803 days

Being a WWE champion is a tough task, as every week there is a new challenger wanting to take that title away from you. But Reigns has proved that he is the ultimate champion by laying waste to every opponent who comes in his path.

And he has been doing so quite successfully as just a few months ago he completed the 1000 day mark. He is currently at 1083 days. While he is still quite far away from becoming the longest reigning champion ever, Kurt Angle feels he should just break Bruno Sammartino’s record as he is already halfway there. It’s kind of ironic because just in April, Angle was complaining about Reigns being the champion and called his title reign “a little long”.

On the recent episode of The Kurt Angle Show he said, “At this point in time they might just have him break the whole damn record. Well he’s almost halfway there.”

But fans clearly had another opinion as they took to Twitter to vent their frustration.

Fans want The Tribal Chief’s title reign to come to an end

It’s not like fans don’t love ‘The Tribal Chief’, they adore him as he is the top dawg in the WWE right now. But they just feel that he has held onto the undisputed titles for a very long time. And fans were quick to tell Kurt Angle that they beg to differ with his opinion.

One fan blatantly disagreed by saying it was just too much.

Another fan made quite a valid point that having Reigns as the undisputed champion for so long might just cause fans to lose interest in the WWE.

One fan even went on to make a personal plea to Angle to stop giving the WWE’s creative team any ideas. He said, “DON’T GIVE THEM IDEAS KURT”.
