After an unsuccessful attempt to capture the title against ‘The Tribal Chief’, Roman Reigns’ at the WWE Crown Jewel PPV 2021, Brock Lesnar decided to annihilate anyone who would stand up against him.
And he did the same when he appeared on Friday Night SmackDown the next night. ‘The Beast’ put his hand on WWE executive, Adam Pearce in front of the capacity crowd, and Lesnar is now indefinitely suspended from WWE.
However, suspending him was not enough for Pearce as WWE announced that they’ll be fining Lesnar for $1 million for putting his hands on the authority figure. However, this $1 million sum, looks a bit far stretched to WWE legend, Dutch Mantell.

In a recent edition of Sportskeeda‘s ‘Smack Talk’, the legendary WWE manager takes a dig at the enormous sum of $1 million fine, which the WWE regulated on the ‘Beast Incarnate’.
Dutch Mantell shoots on “budget cuts” while talking about Brock Lesnar
During the episode of ‘Smack Talk’, Mantell confessed that the fine WWE put on Lesnar is way too much. Not particularly for the wrestler, but for the WWE Universe as well.
Mantell then also takes a dig on the infamous “budget cuts” phrase which WWE has given the only reason behind the wrestlers’ firing. He says that the WWE is looking to compensate some of their budgets by fining this much to Lesnar.
“One thing that pi*sed me off was the million-dollar fine for Brock Lesnar. The Million Dollar fine. I’m still saying, a million dollars? Highly, Highly excessive. 100,000 maybe, 50,000 I would have been okay with it, but a million dollars? Who gets fined a million dollars, ever? Well, they might need to make up for those budget cuts.” Mantell said.
For now, it looks like WWE is trying to get the fans’ attention from Lesnar and Reigns storyline and focus on the upcoming Survivor Series PPV in November.
Earlier, WWE announced via their Twitter handle, the teams of Raw and SmackDown tag teams (male and female). However, the WWE Universe is wondering when they would see a second show-off between the heavyweights.
