Possible reasons why Cody Rhodes was present at SmackDown

Fans know that Cody Rhodes has a story to finish. The star who had played various gimmicks through the years is finally writing the story on his own terms. After his bout with Jimmy Uso at this week’s SmackDown, he was ambushed by Solo Sikoa and was left helpless. It is then that The American Nightmare makes his way to the ring to help him out.
