This means Punk could walk into WrestleMania 40 as the defending World Champion, another milestone. For Punk things will have also changed from the last time he wrestled in WWE.

Rollins was just a member of Shield back in 2014 and now he has developed himself into one of the biggest stars of the company. SHIELD even debuted to assist Punk in his title defense at Survivor Series 2012m so there is a lot of history for WWE to explore.
