Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson returned to WWE at the Day 1 episode of Monday Night Raw this week and called out his cousin. His recent return has fueled the rumors of his potential match against Roman Reigns even more now.

Fans believe the Reigns vs. The Rock dream match will take place at WrestleMania 40 in April. Plus, some fans believe that it could also materialize at the 2024 Royal Rumble or Elimination. If the bout takes place, then there is a chance that ‘The Brahma Bull’ may lose the dream match. Here are three reasons we believe that the Reigns vs. Rock dream match may see ‘The Tribal Chief’ emerging as the victor.

1. Betrayal from daughter Ava Raine

A few months back in October, Paul Heyman went to NXT to support Bron Breakker for his match against Carmelo Hayes, who was taking advice from John Cena. During the episode, a backstage camera caught Heyman talking to Johnson’s daughter Ava Raine (who is an NXT superstar).

Ava belongs to the Samoan family, which is why Heyman may have tried to recruit her to The Bloodline. If that’s the case, Reigns could use Johnson’s daughter against him during their potential singles bout. Ava could betray her father and cause him to lose the match against ‘The Head of the Table’.

2. Numbers game from The Bloodline

Reigns has managed to be the WWE Undisputed Universal Champion for 1200+ days. For this, he owes a big thank you to his Bloodline family, who played a big role in helping him retain his title, match after match over the past three years.

The same could happen during the Reigns vs. Rock Dream match. ‘The Big Dog’ likes to take advantage of the situation and play the numbers game. He could again use Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso as a distraction to pick up a victory over his potential match with ‘The Great One’.

3. Likelihood of a clean defeat similar to John Cena losing to Solo

Reigns and Rock both are excellent wrestlers. therefore, the winning chances are 50-50 (provided no interruption or interference). This means that the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion could defeat Johnson fair and square, just like Sikoa beat Cena at Crown Jewel in November 2023.
