AEW might be in for a shocker. Since its establishment, we have seen countless WWE superstars move over to the promotion headed by Tony Khan. Jon Moxley, Chris Jericho, and Daniel Bryan have all followed the path to becoming All Elite. But this time the WWE might have got one up on its rival.

After his release from AEW, a prized wrestler was recently spotted at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, much to the delight of fans. He is the son of an iconic wrestler known for sharing the ring with the legendary “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. His addition to the WWE roster is sure to shake things up in the promotion.

According to Dave Meltzer (h/t PW Chronicle), Brian Pillman Jr was spotted at the WWE Performance Center.

Son of legendary wrestler Brian Pillman, who was part of a tag team called Hollywood Blondes with Stone Cold Steve Austin, Pillman Jr. found fame by wrestling at All-Elite-Wrestling after making his debut in the promotion in 2019.

The 2019 Rookie of the Year was involved in some high-profile bouts during his tenure, most notably one involving World Champion MJF. But, instead of being spring-boarded by the rivalry, Pillman, Jr. was stuck in the mid-card.

Brian Pillman Jr. lost steam and was criminally neglected in AEW given his abilities in the ring. He was part of underwhelming feuds, which eventually led to his departure.

While it’s unknown why he left the organization, underutilization was probably one of the main reasons. He last competed against Swerve Strickland at AEW Rampage in February.

The 29-year-old will now look to elevate his career in the WWE and hope to rise through the ranks on the main roster under the rule of Triple H.
