The Crown Jewel 2022 event finally took place in all its grandeur. After nearly a month of hype, fans were excited to see their favorite superstars grind it out at the annual event. Of all matches scheduled for Crown Jewel, Braun Strowman vs Omos stood out as a battle of two behemoths. The returning Monster of All Monsters was looking to uproot the Nigerian Giant Omos. 

It was a long time since the WWE Universe was getting a battle of two giants in the promotion. A site that was very common in the past years. Hence, fans immediately took notice when Strowman decided to challenge the unstoppable Omos.

Omos would dominate the buildup to the match with his mouthpiece MVP constantly berating Strowman. He would even go on to push The Monster out of the ring in a segment. The size difference between the two gigantic wrestlers was for all to see. And Omos was the clear favorite leading up to the high-octane match on the basis of his sheer size and the carnage that he had ensued previously. 

Strowman, however, went on to equal the odds when he decimated Omos’s manager MVP in this past week’s edition of SmackDown. However, before the event, the press conference in Riyadh would go on to ascertain Omos’s dominance. The official WWE weigh-in proved the size advantage for the Nigerian, with him weighing 416 pounds to Strowman’s 385 pounds.

The eventual match did not disappoint as Omos started the encounter on a high. He went on to outrightly dominate Strowman and even surprised the fans with his quick in-ring movement. The Nigerian Giant looked in great shape, heading into the match, and was very agile throughout.

Omos’ performance was appreciated by the fans 

The WWE fans couldn’t keep calm seeing Omos’s performance. They took to Twitter to announce their approval of his impressive showing at the event.

That was gold, wasn’t it?

He showed it and how.

Not bad at all.

 

 

Fans did love this unseen side of Omos.

No giant is too big for the towering Omos.

Well, many feel the same way about the match.

The Monster Of All Monsters eventually went on to clinch the battle between the two giants. This would be the second loss for Omos since his battle with Bobby Lashley.

But Omos’s impressive showing during the match garnered most of the attention. The mostly silent wrestler showed a different side of his persona, which was never seen before. He did come on to his own in the absence of his manager, MVP. And fans loved every bit of it. The Nigerian Giant might have lost the clash, but he did win over a lot of fans with his dominating performance.
