The Undertaker has entertained the pro wrestling world for almost 3 decades before retiring in 2020. Major credit for the success of his gimmick goes to his entrance music which matched his character. Calaway has switched between several entrance songs in his career, but his ‘Rest In Peace’ song would always be remembered as the iconic theme song.

The Undertaker opened up with ESPN on the elements that made his entrance so special. “Most people don’t realize that the entrance is part of the match. It sets the whole table for what you’re about to do in the ring and what’s going to happen from that point forward,” said Undertaker.

The Undertaker described the meaning of his Rest in Peace music. “Everything with the Undertaker made perfect sense. The music fit the character. That’s the key element of it. The end is at hand for whoever’s going to be standing in that ring waiting for me to come down. That was the mindset behind the bong. And the music was just doom and gloom. You knew what was coming.”
