Ric Flair is a big name in pro wrestling. He is a 16-time World Champion and a two-time WWE Hall of Famer and is up there with some of the greatest ever to step foot inside the squared circle. Flair also has a flamboyant personality and his stature also attracts a lot of attention. This means the legend is also not away from controversies. Flair was a massive star whose popularity transcended the sport. He wrestled for multiple promotions and was a hit wherever he went. A global star like him attracted the attention of fans no matter where he was. His fame at times has also landed him in trouble.
Robbie McAllister, who wrestled in WWE as part of the tag team ‘The Highlanders’, talked about Flair treating people badly at times when they would come up to him.
McAllister said Ric Flair treated people quite badly at times

Unfortunately, over the years the ‘Golden Stallion’ managed to land himself in a few controversies. ‘Vice’ aired a documentary as part of their Dark Side of the Ring series last year. The documentary focused on the wrestler’s controversial Plane Ride From Hell. This even led to WWE removing him from their intro package before putting him back afterward.

On the Cafe De Rene podcast, McAllister shared his experience of hanging out with Flair. He explained, “That was a lot of fun because after we got to hang out with Flair for a couple of nights, it was funny to see how he could really treat people like sh*t.”
He further added, “I can imagine a guy of his stature, people coming up to him, no matter where you are, you’re Ric Flair, everybody’s coming up to you all the time, and you gotta have your private time every once in a while.” McAllister may be implying that a mega star like Flair may have wanted some private time away from the spotlight and didn’t react well when the fans came up to him.
