Although there have been many names recently that have been rumored to leave AEW to join the leading wrestling promotion instead, there isn’t much evidence to back up the claim. Penta El Zero Miedo is currently signed to Tony Khan’s promotion, but his future may be set to change as per recent reports. Rumors have been going around regarding Miedo being WWE-bound, but there have been no hints regarding the same until now.

One of the bigger names that recently jumped ships from AEW to WWE was Jade Cargill. The female superstar had an impactful launch and quickly established herself in the hearts of the fanbase, showing that the audience is welcoming to AEW stars in WWE. Now, Pentagon Jr. could also follow suit.
As per Lucha Libre Online, his contract with AEW is coming to an end this year in either August or September, which will eventually make him a free agent. While this doesn’t necessarily mean anything, his latest legal step suggests that he could be deciding to join WWE.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter recently reported that there is a belief in the industry that Penta El Zero Miedo is looking to buy the rights to the ring name he has in AEW, preferably to carry his gimmick to WWE following the end of his contract, if necessary. Although WWE is known to start fresh with some characters, Pentagon Jr. doesn’t wish to leave behind the name he made in Tony Khan’s promotion.

In January 2024, Kamille became a free agent, months after her iconic NWA title run. A few months later, she was reportedly signed to AEW. The female talent didn’t reveal much about her in-ring return. Recently, a fan tweeted, asking whether it would take 813 more days to see her back in the squared circle. This is when she seemingly took a shot at Tony Khan for not giving her a chance to debut yet.

The 41-year-old is being accused of the same thing as Ricky Starks’s absence from the wrestling company. Fans believe that he may have told his boss that he intends to leave the promotion, possibly for WWE, allowing Tony Khan to treat him differently and not book him any further.
