Will Paul Heyman's mind games be the key to Roman Reigns' victory over Cody Rhodes?

Roman Reigns currently stands on the verge of a crucial point in his career. While all eyes have been on him after a fiery comeback getting over the WrestleMania somber and the bitter betrayal from his family, Reigns must be busy listing his tasks in the division. Quite unsurprisingly, because he has more than one issue to deal with for the time being, the first and foremost is undeniably the reclaim of the authority of his family dethroning Solo Sikoa, the self-acclaimed Tribal Chief, while the other is certainly settling his score with Cody Rhodes.

Although from the surface, it looks like Reigns is fully invested in regaining the Tribal Chief status among the cousins, deep down he couldn’t forget the moment of his shattering title loss at the grandest stage. Now it begs the question: what will be his Wise Man’s role in this? Dutch Mantell is here to give us a preview.

Paul Heyman has had a tough luck dealing with the new belligerent form of Bloodline. The veteran Hall of Famer has been the constant source of support and strength to his Tribal Chief for the last couple of years. Quite sensibly, he denied the lure of taking Sikoa’s despite repeated pressure. Heyman looks noticeably nervous and clueless during the initial transition period of the faction. Finally, on an unsettling SmackDown night, the special counsel took bump after bump to his body from the ferocious trio of Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Jacob Fatu, and Solo Sikoa before leaving the building on a stretcher. Given how it built up an unaddressed resentment, Heyman can come anytime soon.

Pre-analyzing his role, WWE legend Dutch Mantell noted in his podcast,‘See, there’s several stories that are. Haven’t been told. You know, Roman still has an issue with Cody. Now he has a new Roman. He has a double-pointed angle. He’s got one with the. With the rest of the family and the tribe, and he has one with Cody. Now let’s bring in Paul Dangerously. I mean, I mean, Paul Heyman, Paul Dangerously, Paul Heyman. And now he’s he hates the rest of the guys that beat the crap out of him. And so this has a lot of doors leading in and out. And that easily takes him to WrestleMania.”

However, Heyman had already been there in the backstage at the outstanding SummerSlam night.
