Is Paul Heyman the true mastermind behind The Bloodline's success, or is Solo Sikoa the unsung hero we should be talking about?

Last Friday, a new chapter was etched to Solo Sikoa’s remake of The Bloodline. The recognition ceremony on SmackDown this Friday did not go as planned, especially for the Wiseman, Paul Heyman. For the last segment of the night, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Solo Sikoa, and Paul Heyman entered the ring. As their new leader, Sikoa asked each of them individually to acknowledge him as their “Tribal Chief.”

Fatu, Tonga, and Loa obeyed, but Paul Heyman refused to acknowledge Solo Sikoa. Staying faithful to Roman Reigns, who left the group after his loss at WrestleMania XL. The Bloodline replied to this by giving Heyman a severe beating, which culminated in a power bomb from all of them to Heyman on the commentary table, destroying him and sending him to the hospital.

But now, with the absence of the Bloodline, who is going to be the new manager of the group? Since Sikoa would like to keep the mystique around him by speaking less on the microphone. Was it the wrong decision by the WWE to get rid of the chief promoter of the faction? Well, according to the Busted Open Podcast, this move actually helped Solo Sikoa look a lot more credible. In the latest edition of the Busted Open Podcast, Jonathan Hood and Justin LaBar talked about the latest edition of Friday Night SmackDown. And obviously, they covered the final segment, featuring a broken table and an injured Paul Heyman. However, unlike most viewers, they believed that it was the right move by the WWE to make Sikoa oust Heyman from the group. But how?

Well, by doing so, Sikoa has established himself as a ruthless leader. He could not do so until now because of the lack of gold around his waist. They said, “I know there’s been conversations about having a different mouthpiece than Solo Sikoa for this Bloodline 2.0. Actually, Heyman put Solo over. Not just the Bloodline. Not just the Guerrillas of Destiny and Jacob Fatu. But this helps Solo Sikoa so much that people are wondering, Okay, we haven’t seen him win a lot of matches. He has no championship around his waist. So what kind of leader is he?”

Answering their own question, they added, “Well, he’s such a leader that he ordered the attack on Paul Heyman. So I think, if nothing else, this helps Solo Sikoa in such a big way. For people to take a look at Solo with a fresh set of eyes, saying, “Oh my God, this guy’s willing to take out one of the leaders of this in Paul Heyman.” And I think that that’s great for Solo.” As for a replacement manager, the WWE will have to bring one since none of the members of Bloodline 2.0 can be termed the promo guy for the group. And keeping the surrounding mystique by not making them speak remains the much-desired option.

What’s your perspective on:

Is Paul Heyman the true mastermind behind The Bloodline's success, or is Solo Sikoa the unsung hero we should be talking about?

Have an interesting take?

However, a former WWE manager has dropped his name into the hat as one contender for the position. Armando Estrada hinted at being one of the replacements for Paul Heyman. For the unaware, Estrada was the one who introduced Umaga to the WWE and was his manager during the 2000s. He then went on to manage ECW and even introduced Jacob Fatu during the AAW show Hell Hath No Fury back in 2019. So he surely seems like the right fit for the role. What do you think? Will Estrada replace Heyman? What did you make of the notion that Heyman helped elevate Sikoa? Let us know in the comments.
