Paul Heyman back in action—Is he the secret weapon WWE needs for SummerSlam?

Paul Heyman has been MIA from the workplace ever since the brutal attack inflicted upon him by the rogue Bloodline. The assault even led some fans to wonder whether The Wiseman had met his end in kayfabe. However, a recent official announcement confirms that he is indeed alive and well as per the storyline.

Moreover, he is all set to appear soon as himself, on a show that WWE has recently announced. Fans wouldn’t have to wait till SummerSlam to see Paul Heyman back in his element.

After the unexpected attack on him, it’s safe to say that Paul Heyman no longer works for The Bloodline. However, his contract with WWE is active, so the infamous manager still works for the promotion. Recently, an announcement surfaced that stated that Heyman would appear at the Sports and Entertainment Summit hosted by Variety and Sportico in Los Angeles. According to WWE’s PR page on ‘X’, Heyman will take center stage at the event where he will discuss “How WWE connects with its global fans through social media and weekly televised programming.” The event is slated for the 12th of July.

Fans who wish to visit the summit can register for the event and see The Wiseman through their own eyes. However, he may not be available to meet and greet the audience during the event. For that, you would have to come to NYC in mid-August as he is confirmed to appear at another upcoming WWE fest.

WWE’s SummerSlam will air on the 3rd of August this year. After the PLE, the promotion would venture into the ‘city that never sleeps’. WWE is holding a Fan Fest in New York from the 16th to the 18th of August. Several top stars from the roster are slated to show up on different dates, including legendary personalities from other sports too. Paul Heyman will be at the venue on the 17th. This may not be his first appearance since the brutal attack on SmackDown, but it is one appearance that fans should get excited about.

This is because the infamous manager will have time to meet and greet with fans. Those who wish to grab an autograph of the industry legend can visit the Fanatics Fan Fest in NYC in mid-August and ask Paul Heyman about his health after the attack themselves. For now, get ready to see him at the summit held by Variety and Sportico, where he could also appear covered in bandages to sell his kayfabe injury and show the impact of Bloodline 2.0.
