Paul Heyman Seemingly Confirms Suffering From a Minor Injury Just Days After SummerSlam 2023

The end of SummerSlam 2023 saw Jimmy Uso turn his back on Jey Uso and cost him his high-stakes match. The PLE would end with both Jey Uso and Roman Reigns as two broken men. However, it apparently also went wrong for another legendary WWE icon.

Paul Heyman shared about his minor injury on Twitter in response to a jab at The Bloodline saga by Kurt Angle. The minor detail about his injury at the end of his response concerned many.

Did Paul Heyman sustain an injury at SummerSlam during Jey Uso vs Roman Reigns?

The Tribal Combat at WWE SummerSlam 2023 saw Roman Reigns reportedly suffering an injury. However, what shocked fans was the possibility that The Wiseman to The Tribal Chief, Paul Heyman, came out of the match with an injury as well.

While addressing Kurt Angle’s comments on The Bloodline saga, Heyman would bring it up on Twitter and claim, “No matter what inning we’re in, at least we’re not looking for exposure thru the next Old Timer’s Day.”

He would further speak and confirm his injury. Heyman stated, “And just for the record, I typed this tweet with a broken freakin’ fingernail!” Whether Paul Heyman suffered the injury at SummerSlam or elsewhere is unclear. It is possible that the legendary manager was making it clear that The Bloodline will power through these trying times just like he did when he fought through the pain to respond to Angle.

Although not a serious injury, a broken fingernail is still very painful. However, Heyman will get some recovery time, as WWE will be touring Canada next week without The Bloodline. None of the members have been advertised for the show in Canada, and fans wonder if the story will progress next week or not.

What has WWE planned for The Bloodline next?

With Jey Uso quitting WWE, Jimmy Uso is now left alone. While tension brewed between the two brothers, Jey Uso found it better to quit than to get in a battle with his twin brother. Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa are now left without a feud.

Fans wonder if he will fight at WWE Payback or if he will make his return at WWE Survivor Series against Seth Rollins. Jey Uso is rumored to return at WWE Royal Rumble and set up a potential feud between Jey and Jimmy Uso at WrestleMania 40.

While the story is now getting interesting, Jey Uso’s move was not appreciated by some. Fans will now have to wait and see what unfolds in the next few weeks of WWE.
