Throughout his 1000-day title reign, Roman Reigns has faced a plethora of opponents, including current stars, and legends. However, every single time, Reigns has toppled them to come out victorious in their bouts. Speaking to former NFL player, Pat McAfee, Paul Heyman revealed a name that could be the next big threat to Reigns. And, fans might be shocked that it is neither Gunther nor Cody Rhodes.

Speaking in vintage Paul Heyman fashion, instead of taking a name of an opponent, Heyman would go on to promote Reigns himself. He said, ” Himself! Because that really is Roman’s greatest challenge in life, is topping himself. That the Roman Reigns of tomorrow has to better than the Roman Reigns of today. And the Roman Reigns today, now needs to be better than the Roman Reigns of tomorrow.”

The Tribal Chief’s Wiseman would reveal that the next big challenge for Reigns is, Roman Reigns himself.

He further said, “So, the only true challenger to Roman Reigns is himself. That he has to constantly be better. He can never truly peak cause once he peaks that’s it. Cause we have reached the apex of time, and its time to go do something else. The Tribal Chief gets better and better. So, he’s looking to be the GOAT today and tomorrow and eclipse that level to create an unprecedented level like an expanding universe, is always bigger than it was a moment ago.”
