Factions in WWE come and go, but they leave behind iconic moments to remember them by. The Bloodline could also be considered one such stable that has given fans several memorable moments to recall. In fact, when you sit down to listen to Paul Heyman, you would realize how far the faction has come. In a recent podcast, Heyman got a bit nostalgic recalling the past.

While talking to Rick Rubin on his podcast ‘Tetragrammaton’, Heyman was asked about several things related to his career. The host did not shy away from asking about his in-ring clients either. However, nostalgia struck when Rubin inquired The Wise Man about how Roman Reigns came up with one of his most iconic phrases.

Everyone has to start somewhere. Similarly, The Tribal Chief didn’t have one of his iconic phrases handed over to him either. As a WWE fan, you may find the story intriguing. It all started when Reigns was talking with Heyman and the rest of the stable.

He started by asking Heyman “You know what I really want from Jey?” As his cousin, Reigns said he doesn’t want Jey Uso to love him because he already has it. He went on further to describe that he doesn’t want ‘respect’ either because he would take it from him, being his elder. “I am The Head of The Table. I am The Tribal Chief. I need him to ‘acknowledge’ me,” said Reigns.

Upon recalling his dialogue, Heyman told Rubin how this monologue gave them all “chills“. The manager began to confess how this was the defining moment where they believed this phrase was bigger than all of them.

In the same podcast, he also talked about how one of the Usos also came up with the iconic ‘We The Ones’ for their faction, The Bloodline. “We heard it and we went ‘Oh, that’s it, that’s our tag. We got this one,’recalled Heyman.

However, all things have to come to an end someday. And it appears The Bloodline has reached the end of the line. Although the story might continue to be woven for the stars individually, the stable as the original ‘group’ has broken up. For now, the team consists of Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, and Solo Sikoa after the latest drama at The Night of Champions.

Reigns has seemingly lost to his long-running rival, Sami Zayn. However, the feud could be far from over. So, either the faction could come back stronger than ever, or some serious power shift can happen. Perhaps, some other Bloodline member could ask the rest of the stable to ‘acknowledge’ him.
