Roman Reigns -Paul Heyman’s partnership has been phenomenal both on and offscreen ever since the duo rejoined hands back in 2020. If Roman Reigns is the first man behind his iconic run in WWE, his special counsel comes just next.
WWE Universe was left shocked when Reigns aligned himself with Heyman during SummerSlam 2020. His first-ever solo heel turn perfectly made sense with his pairing up with Heyman. Another wrestler with whom Heyman had been mostly aligned for the past two decades is Brock Lesnar, who played a significant role in his iconic partnership with the top of the table, Roman Reigns.

The Beast Incarnate left the Stamford-based company in July 2022, possibly after learning about Vince McMahon’s retirement. However, this was the second time Lesnar walked out of the company all of a sudden.
Recalling the infamous event, Heyman noted, “I was there for his (Roman Reigns’) first WrestleMania main event because it was against Brock Lesnar. I was there for the first promo that he had to do about his first WrestleMania main event because it was the night after the blizzard and Brock and I came and I opened it up by shaking his hand and telling him that I’ve known your family longer than you’ve known your own family and then when we finally brought it out into the ring, Brock had walked out of WWE five weeks before WrestleMania and we were tasked with Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman in the ring talking about Roman Reigns’ first WrestleMania main event.”
This common notion of Lesnar taking his ball and going home actually proved beneficial
for building the iconic Reigns-Heyman partnership.
Speaking of Heyman, he is currently content with working with The Bloodline. However, the wise man’s long-time future with Roman Reigns might be doubtful after WrestleMania 39.
Paul Heyman’s future association with Roman Reigns looks uncertain
In a recent episode of WWE Raw, Cody Rhodes laid down a possible circumstance where the Anoa’i family could leave Reigns’ side if he lost his title at Mania. The American Nightmare also commented on how Heyman would go back to his advocate life for good. To look a bit deeper, Rhodes didn’t make this claim out of the blue. In fact, there have been certain points that can be a solid indicator of Heyman’s potential betrayal.
Considering the betrayal hint of Jey Uso, it looks even more obvious. Also, being an intelligent being, Reign’s special counsel might be able to guess that the Tribal Chief’s time is about to end. With that, his association with Reigns too will come to an end naturally. Another important reason could be the Beast Incarnate struggling without his advocate by his side. Hence, it would not be absurd for him to want Heyman back in his final run with WWE in case of a retirement plan. So the pull would be quite strong for Heyman to end his relationship with the current top dog.
